SOCIETY OF ADVANCEMENT OF CHICANOS/HISPANICS AND NATIVE AMERICANS IN STEM (SACNAS)
SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science) supports students pursuing STEM education and careers, with a strong commitment to advancing Chicanos/Hispanics, Native Americans, and other historically underrepresented communities in STEM. The SACNAS national organization provides mentorship, professional development, networking, research opportunities, and access to a national community of students, scientists, universities, and employers. At Santa Rosa Junior College, our chapter brings that mission to campus by building community, connecting students with opportunities, and supporting their growth as future STEM professionals and leaders.
